The marketing checkup

Find the next useful improvement in your marketing. Write a short, specific answer to each question.

  1. What outcome do you want? Name one business result and a time period, such as more qualified inquiries this quarter.
  2. Who are you trying to reach, and what are you offering? Describe the people you serve, their problem, and the next step your offer helps them take.
  3. How does someone move from discovering you to taking that step? Map the journey. Note where people may get confused, lose interest, or need more information.
  4. What evidence will tell you whether it works? Choose a measure tied to the outcome. Name where you will check it and how often.
  5. What does the effort cost, and what value does it create? Include time, money, and tools. Describe the value you can observe, including customer feedback, useful relationships, or sales.
  6. What small experiment could reduce uncertainty? State one change and what result would support keeping it. Set a review date.
  7. What is the next action? Pick one task for this week. Name who owns it and when you will review what happened.

Keep your answers somewhere you can revisit. Choose a clear next step, then learn from what happens.
